Unit two, Lesson two. Our trusworthy friends

Topic "Our trustworthy friends"
Some animals can be more human than even humans and can be considered our friends
Exercise 1

1. Why did the dolphin decide to help the pregnant woman?
2. What adjectives would you use to caraterize the dolphin? at least 5 adjectives.
3. How do dolphins communicate?

Exercise 2
Choose one of the following picture and characterize what emotions does the animal manifest,
What are your feelings toward this animal?







 Exercise 3 
Using youtube sources find a video that teaches sounds made by animals, write on the blog the address of the video and your explanation why did you choose this video.

Write on the blog what did you like/dislike at our lessons

Unit two, Lesoon one. Adaptation for survival

Animals are great great creatures of our planet
Place where they live is called habitat
Exercise 1.
I invite you to play on the site http://switchzoo.com/games/habitatgame.htm , bring the pics of the habitat for the next lesson use print screen button from your computer to take a picture and then paint program, I made one for you :)
Exercise 2

write on the blog at least 10 sentences about animals you had in this game.
Example: The flamingo has special bristles in its bill to filter food from the water.  The flamingo can spit water out of its bill while keeping the food inside.

Exercise 3

Unit one: Project work

Hello dear pupils!!!
In this post I invite you to share your ideas and impressions about studied topics in the unit one.


With your agreement I will download your works made for exercise 9, p.21 from your book. Please don't forget to bring them, they can be power point presentations, drawings or collages made with the use of internet pictures.

Your task for project work will be to write on blog answers for the exercise 6, p.20 (please answer to all specified in the exercise questions) and to comment post of your colleagues.

Unit one, Lesson three

Hello Dear students!!!!
Grammar topic of our week is : COMPOUND NOUNS AND THEIR PLURAL
So, here, I inserted several activities using them.

Activity nr. 1
In your notebooks join two parts of a compound words and write their plurals, I inserted a picture with the rule and another one with exercise:

Don't forget to write the plural of the found noun...!!!!!!

In your notebook please write only the plural of the found words and the completed text from this exercise.

The beginnings of life
         
     Life is for some of us efficient, long, worthy process during which we achieve smth., struggle for smth and for sure learn a lot, unfortunately for some of the people life loose the sense and people don't see its beauty. According to the dictionary life means "The physical, mental, and spiritual experiences that constitute existence".






Your hometask for this lesson includes 3 tasks:


1. Watch the video from the link the beginning of life and answer the following questions:
a) What is the role of the cell?
b) Explain the meaning of "eucaryote"
c) What did the reporter say about the black marks on the video?
d) How many times are  bacteria smaller than the size of the cell?
e) How many years ago appeared the complex cells?
f) Explain the word jerk and provide read by you links about "evolution of jerks"
g) what is the role of DNA?
h) What kind of "marriage" happened many years ago? 
i) What happened after the complex cells appeared?
