Unit one, Lesson three

Hello Dear students!!!!
Grammar topic of our week is : COMPOUND NOUNS AND THEIR PLURAL
So, here, I inserted several activities using them.
First, please watch this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD5_yQJms_c and learn the given in it definitions.
Activity nr. 1
In your notebooks join two parts of a compound words and write their plurals, I inserted a picture with the rule and another one with exercise:

Don't forget to write the plural of the found noun...!!!!!!

Activity nr. 2
In your notebook please write only the plural of the found words and the completed text from this exercise.

·         Match the words in box A with the words in box B to form compound words. Ten match them with the definitions.

Alice Springs – Australia
Next week I’m going to a fantastic journey: across Australia! I’m flying to Darwin, in the north of the country, and I’m going to stay (1) _______________ there. My (2) ______________ says it’s quite an interesting city, so I think I’ll spend the morning doing some (3) ________________. I love travelling by train, so then I’m going to take the new (4) _____________________ to Alice Springs, right in the middle of the country.
